Riceberry

Riceberry is somewhere which we came across because it was between the King Rama 9 park and the Weekend market in Phuket Town.

Well it never seems to be very busy at all when we visit - maybe it is waiting for the rest of the road (Hong Yok) to be busy. The restaurant seems to be based on a Western style with proper chairs and tables.

Jemma likes the fish and chips here.

The Thai food is always tasty and

there are some more interesting dishes to choose from.

The deep fried bananas is always something to share at the end of the meal.

Central Food Loft

Central Food Loft is on the top floor of a popular shopping mall - Central Chidlom. It is tastefully organized and there are a great number of choices for you - from Asian food to French mussels.

You take a card when you enter and then give the card to each cooking station and they add on what you have received - much like a traditional food mall but I would imagine that this description would not be well received.

It is a wonderful spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Bangkok - the service was exemplary and the air-conditioning was welcoming.

However if you are looking for some delicious food then it was not what we found - but if you are looking for a 'trendy and upmarket dining concept' - then this is successful.

The cakes were very nice though.
